My name is Grant Durow, and I am a PhD student in the Charles and Louise Travers Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. I study the evolution of political parties, especially parties of the right, in Western democracies, focusing on how leaders, moral ideas, and social embeddedness shape their strategies and long-term resilience.
